Naturopathy was created in the early 20th century by Thomas Allinson and suggests “Natural Healing”. Naturopathy uses a range of natural cures such as sunshine, fresh air, the heat or cold, or even nutritional diets such as a vegetarian, vegan, or whole food diet. In addition to nutritional diets and exposure to the natural elements, refraining from indulging in alcohol, sugar, or other food consumption is commonly used. Naturopathy also uses psychological counseling including thought concentration, relaxation, meditation, and other forms of stress and anxiety management.
Herbalism (Sometimes referred to by Herbal medicine, Paraherbalism, and Pshytotherapy.) is the practice of botany and the utilization of plants for medical research and study. Herbal medicine is an alternative medicine or pseudoscientific practice of utilization of plant and/or animal extracts as health-promoting agents. Herbalism is different from standard pharmacology because rather than isolating the compounds from a plant that is believed to be biologically active, which traditional Pharmacology does, Herbalism does not. Herbalism also falls on the false concept that if the composite from a plant compound is less process or if processing is not utilized then it is much safer and more effective. However, there has been no verification that is true.
